Pembrokeshire Seascapes and Coastal Views are what draw thousands of people to the County. Artist Jill Jones transfers these to canvas, taking inspiration from the beautiful, ever-changing seascapes and coastal views that almost surround Pembrokeshire. In fact, in her paintings, Jill distils the ever-moving colours and purity of light. It is this ability that gives her work a subtle depth and artistic integrity.
Jill’s art career started by first training in fine art at University. Then, after leaving University, she honed her trade in commercial art. However, recently she has returned to her first love; Fine Art. Now, her focus is painting and capturing the beauty of Pembrokeshire, her home county.
Pembrokeshire seascapes at West Coast studio
Jill is based in West Coast Studio in Talbenny, within the renowned Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. In fact, this is a custom-made facility located close to the glorious Pembrokeshire coast. Indeed, Jill is inspired by the large skies and ever-changing colour of the vibrant seasons of Pembrokeshire. As a result, Jill works with light, moonlight and all the shades of sun and seawater.
Commissions welcome
Jill also welcomes commissions of a favourite view or place, perhaps your treasured home. Indeed, all can be painted especially for you. Your first task is to contact Jill to discuss your project. Then you simply provide a photograph or location of a favourite view, coastal or rural and Jill will paint it. Uniquely just for you!
