Jill Jones runs art classes in West Wales. Tuition is available either on a one-to-one basis or for up to 4 persons at a time, based at West Coast Studio, Talbenny. Classes are suitable for beginners right through to advanced artists. The Studio sits within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Art Classes in West Wales go under the name ‘Art Your Way’ and can be booked via art@jilljones.co.uk They are available as either half day (2 hours) or full day 10am – 3pm with an hour lunch break. During the break an informal discussion about the day’s work is usual.
Art Classes in West Wales: Course Format
Careful thought has gone into the courses at Pembrokeshire Art Classes. As a result, this ensures that participants have an enjoyable, invigorating and educational time. In the main, courses feature seascapes, landscapes, abstracts and Pembrokeshire places.
Following a demonstration of techniques, we’ll start to ‘build’ your art. We begin with handy tips for painting sky, and sea or simple land techniques. The use of colour, observation of light, depth and perspective will develop along with your brush technique as you create your art.
From initial sketch beginnings, we will work our way through towards a finished piece, together. Suitable for all levels of experience
West Coast Gallery
The studio also acts as a galllery where Jill displays many of her paintings that are not otherwise featured in galleries elsewhere. You’ll see that paintings include a wide selection of coastal images and iconic Pembrokeshire views. Traditional cottages are also featured. This display not only act as an inpiration to students but they may also buy paintings at a discounted rate!
