Painting classes with Jill Jones
Jill Jones offers flexible art tuition in Pembrokeshire, based in her custom-built studio for parties of one to four.
Art tuition in Pembrokeshire is available either on a one-to-one basis or for up to 4 persons at a time, based at West Coast Studio, Talbenny, in glorious Pembrokeshire, and is suitable either for beginners or right through to advanced artists.
In addition, all materials for the course are provided.
The main medium used is acrylics, though water colours and oils are also available.
Courses can be booked via art@jilljones.co.uk or by calling 01437 781386 and are available as either half day (2 hours) or full day 10am – 3pm with an hour lunch break. *booking essential.
Following a demonstration of techniques, we’ll begin to ‘build’ your art. This starts with handy tips for example, painting sky, and sea or simple land techniques. Also, the use of colour, observation of light, depth and perspective. This will help develop your skills and brush technique as you create your art.
From initial sketch beginnings, we will work our way towards a finished piece, together. Classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
2 hour classes are £80 per person, the full day is £140 per person and includes a gifted (free) homemade lunch with local Welsh produce.
As all classes are booked to order, and tailored specially to individuals’ requirements, you can also request other blocks of tuition time (ie, for example: 3 hour sessions or multiple days). Prices on request.
