Jill Jones will have a solo exhibition in September 2022 at Oriel LLanteglos Gallery at Llanteg, near Tenby. The exhibition will run from 10th September until 7th October. Gallery proprietor, Denise Vickery, says: “this is Jill’s second solo exhibition here and after the success of the first we expect great things once again”. All are welcome at the exhibition, in which Paintings of the Pembrokeshire Coast will feature.you will have the chance to ‘meet the artist’ on some days.
Additionally, you will have the chance to ‘meet the artist’ on some days. You’ll find Jill at work on new coast-related compositions and have the chance to witness her technique at close quarters. Furthermore, if you wish, you can discuss a special commission of you own. No subject is ‘off-limits’; your favourite view or place or object. Special commissions make valued gifts for loved ones or can form a focal point in the home.
How to get there
You’ll find Oriel Llanteglos Gallery just off the A477 near Amroth. From the west or east just follow the A477 until you see signs for ‘Llanteglos Estate’. The gallery is located within the grounds of the estate. You can call ahead on 01834 831268 if required.
The Jill Jones Gallery
If, for whatever the reason, you are unable to attend ‘Coast: the exhibition’, you can visit Jill in her own gallery/studio. Her ‘West Coast Studio’ is located in the hamlet of Talbenny, near Little Haven. It stands within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, just over a mile from the breathtaking coast. Here is also based ‘The Havens Art School’ in which Jill runs art classes on a regular basis. The classes are for one to four persons and in duration are from a half-day to four days.
