Jill Jones Exhibition news: Jill is featuring her works in a notable upcoming exhibition. Oriel Llanteglos, near Tenby, is the exciting location. The dates of the Exhibition are 20th August to 10th September 2021. Be sure to add these dates to your diary!
Oriel Llanteglos
The location, Oriel Llanteglos Art Gallery, opened in February 2020. It’s aim is to bring together the best of Welsh artists, potters, sculptors and creatives. In addition, it will display statement pieces from far afield and is situated on the beautiful Llanteglos Estates, Pembrokeshire. Furthermore, next door, ‘The Wanderer’s Rest Inn’, brings additional delight to a visit to the gallery!
Proprietor, Denise Vickery, is delighted to add this new creative venture to existing Pembrokeshire art galleries. You will be able to visit Oriel Llanteglos gallery 6 days a week during high season. Furthermore, its aim is to showcase both established and up and coming artists with regular exhibitions.
Art Tutorials
Jill and Denise, in a new joint collaberation, are planning to run art tutorials located in the Inn next door to Oriel LLanteglos. Jill has designed the tutorials to be a broad celebration of painting in acrylics. Furthermore, artists of all abilities will be welcomed. You will find that the events aim to be fun yet instructional and participants will be treated to nibbles and a free drink. We believe that it’s the first venture of it’s kind in Pembrokeshire and hopes are high for its success. Participants will also have to chance to visit the Gallery. You should see the first of these events taking place in the Autumn.
Jill Jones Art in other Welsh Galleries
You will find Jill’s Art in several other galleries, as well as Oriel LLanteglos. For example, in the North, Life: Full Colour in the busy town of Caernarfon features her works and you will find more in picturesque Beaumaris at the Art Quarter Gallery.
In the South, you may view her works at the Pure art Gallery in Milford Haven Waterfront. Art lovers may also drop-in to Eastgate Creative Hwb in Pembroke to see more of Jill’s paintings.
